Welcome to my little space in the web where I can spout off about all the things that catch my interest!

     An introduction is usually first, right... Hmm. Well. ^_^ Let's get into it then, shall we? I'm Misa and I've just started a blog for the first time ever. A quick blurb about me is that I'm a wife, a mom, a nerd, a geek, a seamstress, a cook, a crafter, a gamer, a cosplayer, an avid reader, lover of anime, and so much more. It's always hard to distill a life down to a few words, isn't? I like to think of myself as just a regular weirdo with interests and passions across the board. I've been working in IT for a couple of decades now. I love computers, and gaming and all that techy nerd stuff. I also love history, and pretty much everything to do with needle and thread and fabric. So while I pay the bills with tech, I keep my sanity with thread. 

    You might be wondering why I'm starting to blog all of a sudden? My oldest daughter is about to get married, and I am going to make her gown and veil! I wanted to document the whole process, so I figured this would be a good way to go about it.  I've always been the sort for journaling, which makes this a bit of a logical progression. If you, the hypothetical reader, are sticking around for a bit, you'll get to read about my adventures in all kinds of arenas! I hope you enjoy my ramblings! I can quite easily see myself going on about the gown making process and also about anything else that grabs my eye at the time. I don't know about you, but I am a nut for crafting and hobbies and gaming. Basically if my hands aren't busy with something, I'm probably getting into some sort of mischief!
